Anyone know what's going on here? Thanks in advance.ĭr.schliemann: You made a mistake editing the " fallout_default.ini" file: instead you should have edited the fallout.ini file located in %USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Fallout3\.

I basically want to revert back to a vanilla version of the game then go in and ONLY add fDefaultWorldFOV=90.0 instead of adjusting fDefault1stPersonFOV as well. Maybe it's something to do with the game reverting back to my cloud saves of the game when I entered the settings? I've even tried starting a new save game but to no avail. I've changed the value of fDefault1stPersonFOV back to 55.0000 and removed fDefaultWorldFOV=90.0 yet it didn't revert. I've verified the game, yet it didn't work. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, yet it didn't revert. This makes the viewmodel field of view (arms) way too long. However, I also changed the value of fDefault1stPersonFOV=55.0000 to fDefault1stPersonFOV=85.0000. I did the same thing I did with New Vegas and added the line fDefaultWorldFOV=90.0 to the end of my display settings in the Fallout_default file. Hey! Today I got Fallout 3 GOTY and I wanted to adjust my field of view.
